Photographic images found in ubiquitous magazines, brochures, catalogs, etc. exist in a state of manipulation. Most if not all of the pedestrian images around us are and always have been staged, color enhanced, airbrushed, digitally enhanced, or otherwise manipulated.

 

I seek specific parts of these images, extricate them from the bonds of context, and further manipulate them into parts of a visual vocabulary.
